Just 12km from Dalaman International Airport lies the idyllic town of Sarigerme. Until recent years this was a relatively unheard of town in Turkey, but due to its stunning scenery, and 4 mile stretch of white sandy beach it has been the focus for investment for the last few years.

The town is still largely undeveloped with only a few shops, restaurants and bars at present. It is set just 800m from the beach with a shuttle 'train' providing regular transport between the two. Plans for the resort include a 5 star Hilton hotel which opened last month, a 1200 berth marina, construction of which is to begin this year, and a series of golf courses the first of which is due to open in 2010.

The 18 hole golf course will turn Sarigerme into the first year round resort. This means increased rental opportunities for anyone with property in the area.

Lycia Properties is the first developer in Sarigerme, and in conjunction with the Hilton opening has started work on their Royal Links project. This development of 19 private villas and 8 apartments will be the first of its kind in Sarigerme.
