We are pleased to announce that we will be attending ‘A Place in the Sun Live’ which is taking place at London Earls Court at the end of this month. This exhibition is the UK’s only dedicated overseas properties show and will attract exhibitors from over 40 different countries.

In addition to the hundreds of exhibitors there will also be free-to-attend seminars to give help and advice on buying your dream property abroad, and question and answer sessions from the presenters of Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun. The show will have areas dedicated to certain countries including Turkey, and for those of you thinking about leaving the UK for good, there will be emigration seminars running throughout the three day event.

Due to the successful sales on our Royal Links development in Sarigerme which will complete this July, we are delighted to announce that we are releasing ‘The Valley Apartments’ which will be completed in summer 2011.

The Turkish tourist board is spending a lot of money advertising the different areas of Turkey to the UK holiday market. Over the last 10 years the number of visitors to Turkey has more than trebled, making Turkey a top 10 destination in the world for foreign visitors. This along with the continuing expense of holidaying in countries which use the Euro is good news for property owners on the South West coast.

The largest UK airline Easyjet announced earlier this year that they would be adding new flights to Dalaman airport from both Bristol and London Stansted. Flights from Stansted to Dalaman will begin on 14th May 2010 with the Bristol flights starting on 16th July 2010. Other airlines that fly from the UK to Dalaman are Thomas Cook, Onur Air, Monarch, Thomson, Jet2, Pegasus and Onur Air.

Every year we are seeing more and more flights being added from the UK to Dalaman in both the winter and summer months which is another boost for the flourishing Turkish tourist industry.

Last year was a record year for foreigners holidaying in Turkey and this year looks no different. Most of our clients who are renting their property are already fully booked for the peak weeks in 2010. Clients that bought their villas in Turkey for the intention of owning a private holiday home are now being tempted due to the returns that can be found in renting to the holiday market.
